Tour Plan
Your journey starts in Tangier, a city where cultures collide and history runs deep. We’ll greet you at the port or airport and begin with a guided tour through the ancient medina, a maze of lively souks, whitewashed houses, and echoes of its colonial past. You’ll explore the Kasbah, perched above the city, offering stunning views of the Strait of Gibraltar.
Then we’ll visit the American Legation Museum, once the first American public property abroad. The museum’s art and historical exhibits capture Tangier’s international intrigue. Outside the city, we’ll head to Cap Spartel, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean—an ideal photo spot. Finally, you'll walk through the mysterious Caves of Hercules, full of myth and ocean spray. It’s the perfect way to open your Moroccan adventure.
After breakfast, we travel into the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, often called “The Blue Pearl of Morocco.” The entire town is painted in calming shades of blue, making it one of the most photogenic places in the country. As you walk through its peaceful medina, you’ll see locals selling handmade crafts, woven blankets, and herbal soaps.
Climb up to the Spanish Mosque for a panoramic view over the blue rooftops and surrounding mountains. The town feels slow and serene—perfect for soaking in Moroccan charm. In the afternoon, we head south on a scenic drive to Casablanca, where the Atlantic breeze welcomes you once again.
Casablanca is Morocco’s largest and most modern city, yet it holds plenty of cultural treasures. Our day begins at the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. It sits dramatically above the sea, and its minaret—tallest in Africa—reaches 210 meters. You’ll marvel at the carved marble, zellige tilework, and ocean views through its glass floor.
Next, we’ll explore the Habous Quarter, built in the 1930s as a fusion of French planning and Moroccan style. It’s the ideal spot to browse bakeries, bookshops, and artisan stalls. A stroll through United Nations Square and the Old Medina offers a more traditional feel before the day winds down by the oceanfront.
Today is packed with historical contrasts. We leave Casablanca early for Rabat, Morocco’s political and royal capital. In Rabat, you’ll visit the Royal Palace gates, the grand Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, where royal guards stand beside white marble tombs and green-tiled domes.
From there, we drive into the countryside to reach Volubilis, a remarkably well-preserved Roman archaeological site. You’ll walk along ancient streets and gaze at intricate mosaics still intact after 2,000 years. The Capitoline Temple, triumphal arch, and ruined mansions reflect a time when Rome ruled this region. As the sun begins to dip, we continue to the medieval city of Fez, where ancient magic awaits.
Waking up in Fez feels like entering another era. This city is the spiritual and intellectual heart of Morocco, and today’s guided tour unveils its secrets. We begin in the Fez el-Bali medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s largest car-free urban zones. The streets are narrow, buzzing with merchants, donkeys, and hidden courtyards.
You’ll visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, a marvel of Marinid architecture, and see how leather is still dyed by hand at the Chouara Tannery, where centuries-old vats glow with color. We also pass the Al-Qarawiyyin University, founded in 859 AD—one of the oldest in the world. You’ll experience the city's old soul in its craftsmanship, souks, and timeless beauty.
After breakfast, we set off on one of Morocco’s most scenic drives, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains. You’ll pass cedar forests near Azrou, see wild monkeys if you're lucky, and admire alpine-style towns like Ifrane. As we descend, the landscape shifts into the Ziz Valley, where endless palm groves line the road.
By late afternoon, the dunes of Merzouga appear in the distance. You’ll mount a camel for a sunset trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, golden and shifting with the wind. At your desert camp, a traditional dinner awaits under a canopy of stars. Drums, dancing, and mint tea complete your night in the Sahara.
Wake early if you wish to catch the sunrise—it’s a magical moment in the silence of the desert. After breakfast, we head west, stopping at Todra Gorge, where towering rock walls stretch 300 meters high above a winding stream. It’s a peaceful place to walk, rest, or snap dramatic photos.
We continue along the Dades Valley, passing ancient kasbahs, twisting roads, and the curious rock formations known as the Monkey Fingers. Traditional Berber villages dot the route, and you’ll feel Morocco’s rural rhythm. Tonight, we stay in the heart of the valley, surrounded by red cliffs and palm groves.
Our first stop today is Ouarzazate, known for its film studios and desert landscapes. You’ll explore Kasbah Taourirt, once home to a powerful Glaoui family. Then we visit the legendary Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site where Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and other blockbusters were filmed. Its mudbrick towers overlook a dry riverbed and seem frozen in time.
We then begin our climb through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. The winding road offers views of snow-capped peaks and green valleys before arriving in Marrakech, Morocco’s most vibrant city.
Today is a full day exploring Marrakech, often called the “Red City.” We begin at the Koutoubia Mosque, with its 77-meter minaret visible from all over the city. Then, we explore the ornate Saadian Tombs and the luxurious Bahia Palace, a stunning example of 19th-century Moroccan design.
You’ll wander through the lively souks, full of spices, lanterns, carpets, and handcrafted treasures. In the afternoon, relax in the serene Secret Garden, with its restored fountains and Islamic architecture. We end the day at the Menara Gardens, where olive groves and a reflecting pool provide the perfect sunset setting.
On your final day, we’ll arrange your airport transfer based on your flight time. Whether you're flying out of Marrakech or Casablanca, our driver will ensure a smooth journey to the airport. After 10 days in Morocco, you leave with memories of sunsets in the desert, medinas rich with history, and the warmth of Moroccan hospitality.
