Tour Plan
We begin our adventure from the colorful chaos of Marrakech, leaving the city behind as we cross the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll stop to stretch, snap some photos, and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Our first big stop? The legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a clay fortress so stunning it’s been featured in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After soaking up the views and grabbing lunch, we head to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and continue to the beautiful Dades Valley, where red rock formations and ancient kasbahs welcome you for the night.
📍 Overnight: Charming guesthouse in Dades Valley
Today is packed with wonder. After breakfast, we wind through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where massive cliffs rise on either side of a sparkling river. It’s a favorite stop for hikers and climbers—and a great place for photos.
After some free time, we drive toward Merzouga, where the desert begins to whisper. By late afternoon, you’ll meet your camel caravan and begin a slow, peaceful ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes as the sun sets in gold.
Tonight, you’ll sleep in a luxury desert camp, complete with a private tent, traditional dinner, and live Berber music around the fire. The stars? Endless.
📍 Overnight: Erg Chebbi Luxury Camp
Rise early—because a desert sunrise is something you’ll never forget. After breakfast and a refreshing shower, we begin our journey north, leaving the sands behind.
We’ll pass through the lush Ziz Valley, stop for lunch in Midelt, and then head into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Keep your eyes open for wild Barbary monkeys in the cedar forests near Azrou.
As we arrive in Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual capital, you'll feel the shift from desert calm to city soul.
📍 Overnight: Traditional riad in Fes
Today is all about discovery. Fes is one of the oldest and most fascinating cities in the world. With a local guide, you’ll explore the UNESCO-listed Medina, where time seems to stand still. Wander the narrow alleys, visit artisan workshops, peek into ancient schools, and step into Al-Qarawiyyin University, one of the world’s oldest.
From the Royal Palace to the famous tanneries, every corner has a story. You'll also have free time to shop for crafts or sip tea on a rooftop terrace.
📍 Overnight: Fes Riad
After breakfast, we take a step even further back in time with a visit to Volubilis, a remarkably preserved Roman city with mosaics and temples still standing after 2,000 years. You’ll feel like a time traveler walking these ancient streets.
From there, the road winds into the Rif Mountains, leading us to Chefchaouen, the dreamy “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. As you arrive, everything slows down. The pace. The people. The vibe. Explore its painted streets, artisan shops, and quiet plazas before settling in for the night.
📍 Overnight: Cozy riad in Chefchaouen
Enjoy a lazy morning—this is your time to soak in the calm before the return. You can climb to the Spanish Mosque for a panoramic view, sip coffee in Plaza Uta el-Hammam, or stroll through artisan markets for a few last souvenirs.
After lunch, we hit the road. Whether you're heading back to Casablanca or Marrakech, the journey is smooth, scenic, and filled with memories.
Your Marrakech to Chefchaouen tour ends today—but the experience stays with you forever.
📍 End: Drop-off in Casablanca or Marrakech
